My edible marker isn’t working. What should I do?
Sometimes edible markers can take a moment to get the ink flowing, particularly if they haven’t been used for a while.First, gently scribble the marker on a clean piece of paper or paper towel for a few seconds. If the tip seems dry, lightly dampen the tip with a tiny amount of clean water, then blot away any excess and try again.Avoid soaking the marker or leaving the tip sitting in water, as too much water can dilute the edible ink.CMC Tip: Our fondant cookies are designed to have a firm, dry colouring surface — gentle pressure is all you need.
